Two friends are
desperate for shelter as they are surprised by a heavy thunderstorm.
The young women sees no other way out that to take cover in the
old abandoned mill, which is said to be haunted. Cold and miserable,

“Over there! Hurry, Catherine!” Agnes cried out, trying
to be heard over the summer thunder. Rain was tipping down, as they
ran for shelter. Just minutes ago they had been gathering wildflowers
at one of the neglected field a couple of miles from the mansion.
Catherine’s latest whim was to try to create a herbarium over
the botanical species in the shire. One second the weather was fine,
a little cloudy perhaps, but such was always the weather close to
the coast in Exeter, and the next second the sky had completely
opened above them, clearly on a mission to flood them all.
