First 100 words:

“Over there! Hurry, Catherine!” Agnes cried out, trying to be heard over the summer thunder. Rain was tipping down, as they ran for shelter. Just minutes ago they had been gathering wildflowers at one of the neglected field a couple of miles from the mansion. Catherine’s latest whim was to try to create a herbarium over the botanical species in the shire. One second the weather was fine, a little cloudy perhaps, but such was always the weather close to the coast in Exeter, and the next second the sky had completely opened above them, clearly on a mission to flood them all.
